Vast: Inside Boeing's Everett passenger plane plant - the Dreamliner factory

The building is so big that literally clouds formed at the roof until an air circulation system was installed. Today there is no air conditioning or heating system. The air is warmed by thousands of lights fitted inside the building. Similarly in case of sunny weather, the doors of the building are opened to provide cooling.

More than 30,000 people are employed in the factory working in 3 shifts ( Round the clock). Nearly 1,10,00 people visit the factory annual for the guided tour. The factory's giant doors are one of the largest doors in the world which feature the largest digital graphics mural in the world ( 10,000 sq.ft ).
